Since KUGS® bipods have just been approved by the Swiss authorities (SAT), they will be included in the official Catalog of Authorized Accessories for Service Weapons as of January 1st, 2027! (document 27.132 dfi)
Benefits of KUGS® bipods
KUGS® bipods were developed to ensure greater stability when using the SIG 550 - FASS/PE 90. This is why the angle between the bipod’s legs has been increased to 90°. The KUGS® FIXE and PROG bipods are unlike any bipod previously approved by the SAT!
KUGS® FIXE bipod
The FIXE, which is 270 mm long, is our first model. It places the muzzle 220 mm above the ground. This model will be available for purchase at the 32nd Lausanne Gun Show (December 4 to 6, 2026).
KUGS® PROG bipod
The PROG is our second, more sophisticated (adjustable) model. Length can be continuously adjusted between 265 mm and 305 mm, placing the muzzle from 217 mm above the ground. This model is already available, IN STOCK!
